Job Description :

1. Develops and maintains SCM systems, and defines, implements and improves upon SCM environments. 2. Monitors software and systems defects. 3. Ensures product migrations through all systems environments as per SCM processes. 4. Provides support to technical and managerial staff with regard to SCM activities. 5. Interacts directly with clients regarding project activities as appropriate. 6. Provides SCM resource estimates and allocates appropriate resources based upon requirements. 7. Advances the practice of Software Configuration Management throughout the organization by implementing and improving SCM infrastructures. 8. Evaluates the SCM process and identifies a set of applicable metrics. 9. Ensures that the day-to-day SCM tasks are carried out appropriately and recommends improvements when appropriate. 10. Ensures the professional development pf the SCM team. 11. Provides direction and training to staff. 12. Conducts performance reviews at required intervals. 13. Defines and monitors progress on employee Development Action Plans.
